SSR/MR Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy 02/2024
The following lists the requirements for age restriction and educational background for the Indian Navy’s posts of MR (Matric Recruit) and SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit).
Qualifications:
- SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit): 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics, Physics, and one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science is required for SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) candidates.
- MR (Matric Recruit): Applicants must have graduated from a recognized Indian board’s Class 10 (High School) test.
Age Requirement:
Candidates for SSR and MR must be born between November 1, 2003, and April 30, 2007.
Physical requirements:
- Height: Males must be 157 cm tall, while ladies must be 152 cm tall.
- Running: It takes men 6 minutes and 30 seconds to finish 1.6 km, while it takes women 8 minutes.
- Males should perform 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak), and ladies should perform 15 reps.
- Push-ups: 12 reps, only for men.
- 10 times solely for ladies to perform bent-knee sit-ups.

Indian Navy’s 2024 SSR/MR application fee
