- A degree in any subject from a reputable university
- 8 years of service as an Inspector in Paramilitary Forces (CRPF/BSF/ ITBP/ SSB/ CISF/ IB/ CBI etc.) and Sub-Inspector (investigation wing) of State Police OR
- 5 years of service as a Commissioned Officer of the Army, Navy, or Air Force, or Assistant Commandants of Paramilitary Forces (BSF/ CRPF/ ITBP/ CISF/ SSB, etc.),
Age Limit:
- As on January 1, 2022, applicants must be at least 21 years old and no older than 35. For SC/ST and OBC applicants, the age restriction is 5 years, respectively.
