SSC JHT Recruitment 2020: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently released the notification for the recruitment for the Senior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Junior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Posts. As we know, it was supposed to be early but due to COVID Pandemic, the examination got delayed.

Educational Qualification:
- Junior Translator in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS) (Code-A): Candidates must have completed their Master’s degree from a recognized Institute/University either in Hindi with English or English with Hindi as an elective or compulsory subject as a medium of examination at degree level.
- Junior Translator in M/o Railways (Railway Board) (Code-B): Applicants must possess their Master’s degree from any recognized University/Institute in any subject except English or Hindi, but with Hindi medium and English as elective or compulsory subject or as the examination medium at the degree level.
- Junior Translator in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ) (Code-C): Applicants must possess their Master’s degree from any recognized University/Institute in any subject except English or Hindi, but with English medium and Hindi as elective or compulsory subject or as the examination medium at the degree level.
- Junior Hindi Translator/Junior Translator in Subordinate offices who have adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JHT/JT (Code-D): Candidates must have completed their Master’s degree from a recognized Institute/University either in Hindi with English or English with Hindi as an elective or compulsory subject as a medium of examination at degree level.
AND
Participants must hold their Diploma or Certificate course in Translation from English-to-Hindi and vice-versa or they should possess the 2-years of working experience of Translation work in Hindi-to-English and vice versa in Central or State Government Department including Govt. of India undertaking.
- Senior Hindi Translator in several Government Ministries/Offices/Departments (Code-E): Candidates must have completed their Master’s degree from a recognized Institute/University either in Hindi with English or English with Hindi as an elective or compulsory subject as a medium of examination at degree level.
OR
Applicants must possess their Master’s degree from any recognized University/Institute in any subject except English or Hindi, but with English medium and Hindi as elective or compulsory subject or as the examination medium at the degree level.
OR
Applicants must possess their Master’s degree from any recognized University/Institute in any subject except English or Hindi, but with Hindi medium and English as elective or compulsory subject or as the examination medium at the degree level.

Age Limit:
As on 1st January 2021, candidates must be age from 18 to 30 years old in order to be eligible for the recruitment i.e. applicant must be born before 2nd January 1991 and not born later than 1st January 2003.
